Our first houses were built in the historic market town of Much Wenlock, closely followed by a development in Uffington, also in Shropshire. These projects demonstrate the value of shared ownership model in increasing the availability of affordable housing in rural areas. We have since worked closely with Shropshire Council on its Local Plan, offering advice as to how planning policies can encourage the delivery of more rural affordable housing across the county.
There are two keystones that make Noah Homes’ approach to affordable housing distinctive:
Just before they married, Andy and Debbie bought a 40% share of a two-bed home for £100,000. The full (100%) open market value would have been £250,000.
